Your donations continue to make a difference for Tibetan children’s literacy development by supporting the work of our project partner Manjushri Educational Services. As well as running a library in Dharamsala, Manjushri also publish children’s books in Tibetan which are then distributed to the Tibetan exile community.
Recently another of our partners, Ngoenga School for children with special needs, received a selection of Manjushri’s newest titles. Ngoenga aims to meet each child’s individual needs, providing a high standard, tailored education. Ngoenga’s staff explained:
“All children learn differently and read in many ways too. The type of story, it’s illustrations, how the pages feel, or the way the story is told makes a big difference in engaging them to read.”
