Please join Tibet Relief Fund and the Tashi Lhunpo Monks on 26 April for a very special evening celebrating the Panchen Lama’s 34th birthday!

The 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, has not been seen in public since his abduction in 1995 at six years old, making him the world’s youngest political prisoner.

To mark his birthday, the Tashi Lhunpo monks will be making a Peace Mandala at St Ethelburgas Centre for Reconciliation and Peace on 25 and 26 April, followed by an event on the evening of 26 April. The event will include Tibetan food, a short talk by Khen Rinpoche, Abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, long-life prayers, the ceremonial destruction of the sand mandala, and of course, a birthday cake!

Tashi Lhunpo monks make a sand mandala in the Houses of Parliament, 19th – 22nd May 2008

All attendees will be given their own small pouch of the blessed sand from the Peace Mandala.

🗓️ 26 April, 6pm. St Ethelburgas Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, 78 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AG

Get your tickets at https://www.enlightenedgifts.org and visit the event page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/550855113822172 Any additional donation you choose to add on top of the ticket price will go to support Tibet Relief Fund’s work with Tibetan communities.
