Tibet Relief Fund would like to wish the Tibet women’s national team good luck in the Conifa women’s world cup competition that starts today.
As in 2022, Tenzin S, who is sponsored through our sponsorship program, has been selected for the squad and we are all very proud of her.
In 2022 they scored their first ever international goal, a big milestone for the team, with each match they can continue to create new milestones.

Confederation of Independent Football Associations, is the football federation for all associations outside FIFA. The non-profit supports representatives of international football teams from nations, de-facto nations, regions, minority peoples and sports isolated territories.
UPDATE
We have a very sad update that there was devastating news for the Tibet women’s national team.
Due to Norway’s slowness in issuing visas the team has denied them the opportunity to take part in the CONIFA World Cup and represent Tibet on the international stage.

We regret to inform you that despite our best efforts, the Tibetan National Women’s football team is unable to participate in the CONIFA Women’s World Cup 2024, which was scheduled from June 3rd to 8th in Norway. Unfortunately, we have not yet received the visa. This decision weighs heavily on our hearts, especially considering the dedication and hard work put in by our talented team during their training camp.
