Lhamo Tsering, also known as Lhamo the Educator, teaches supplementary English conversation classes for Tibetan secondary school students in Ladakh. Through these regular classes Lhamo’s students are developing fluency and confidence in their English speaking, which makes all the difference. Students who are confident in their abilities tend to speak more and realise making mistakes doesn’t matter. Learning languages becomes fun and students improve quickly.
Lhamo says: “I believe that it is very important to have close connection with your students so that they look forward to learn from you. Teaching is the only profession which gives me 100% joy and satisfaction.”
