We are delighted to announce that our youth empowerment project in Delhi, Empowering the Vision, opened their new offices on 29 September 2023. Thank you to everyone who donated to our emergency appeal following the devastating floods in July.
Thanks to you, Empowering the Vision has a permanent space to deliver their vital services from, and the Community Hub (Sontsa) has a new home.
Kunsang, Director of Empowering the Vision said:
“We eagerly anticipate the participation of numerous local residents as we come together to celebrate the significance and necessity of this community hub. At long last, New Delhi boasts a community hub where Tibetan students, young adults, and professionals can converge to learn, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore avenues to contribute to our community. On Friday, we have a book launch event in collaboration with Penguin India. This is a great start to our future programs.”
