Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to the new Community Kitchen in Delhi. We thought you would enjoy a quick walkthrough video of the future site!
Building work is currently on hold due to lockdown. In partnership with Tibetan Cancer Society the Community Kitchen will provide hot meals to vulnerable and marginalised members of the Tibetan community in Delhi. We hope it becomes a thriving community hub – a place that nourishes both body and soul, where people of different ages and from different cultures can come together to share a meal and get to know one another.
Tsultrim says “Even with family support, it appears young people with drug problems end up using any money on their addiction and end up not eating. We believe the availability of two free hot meals would reduce cases of such youth going hungry and the Community Kitchen can be a space where they can get access to a support group.”
