We are thrilled to announce that through your support, seven more families in Bakhang have successfully rebuilt their homes. Following the devastating 2015 Nepal earthquakes, these families had been living in inadequate and unstable shelters. But thanks to the donations from our spring appeal last year, their lives have been greatly improved.
🏠 Norsang and Lhakpa (top) along with their two daughters now have an earthquake-resistant house. Lhakpa says:
“I am excited and happy about the new house … The new house would (sic) give us comfort and security for the years to come.”
🏠 Meanwhile Tsering (bottom) and his brother no longer have to sleep in their cowshed as they now have a permanent home.
