It’s a complicated issue with a relatively straightforward solution. By providing practical training in lucrative, in-demand fields like cookery, tailoring, dentistry or mechanics – you can help break the cycle of hardship and open doors of opportunity for countless individuals like Tenzin Pema.
Helping people get the skills, tools and knowledge they need to create and strengthen their livelihoods extends far beyond the classroom. It enables them to help themselves and their families consume more nutritious food, access health services, support their children’s education, and live with greater dignity. - Vocational Training Courses: your donation could help us deliver our six-month vocational training courses, specifically tailored to the needs and aspirations of Tibetan refugees. We strive to provide diverse training opportunities that align with individual talents and the local job market.
- Resources and Equipment: a donation from you today could help provide all the necessary textbooks, materials and equipment someone needs to get the most out of their training course.
- Careers Advice and Support: we believe vocational training should not end with the acquisition of skills. Your donation will help us deliver careers advice sessions, CV writing and other support, facilitating job placements for our trainees and supporting them to secure gainful employment.
