Tibet Relief Fund is seeking a treasurer trustee

Looking to become a charity treasurer trustee?

Do you have a financial background and interest in the charity sector or Tibet? Would you like to make a valuable difference using your finance skills and experience? If you do, then don’t miss this exciting opportunity!

We are looking for a new treasurer trustee for our Board (a voluntary position). As a treasurer, you will have significant professional experience working in a financial setting and be sympathetic to the operations of a charity. Your main duties will be to oversee the charity’s finances, ensure best practice is followed, to support the CEO in preparing budgets and financial reports, and to advise other trustees on financial matters. It would be useful if you were a qualified accountant, but the most important attribute is your knowledge and understanding of financial good practice.

As a trustee, you will be a custodian of our vision, mission and values. You will provide an external viewpoint to help us maximise our potential. Using your skills, experience and contacts, you will actively participate in the advancement and growth of the charity.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, it would be great to hear from you. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and/or have experience of the work we do and the people we work with.
