A spokesperson from the school said: “The grant has helped our Foundation to cope up with the operational cost of our school. We have been able to provide quality food towards our students [and] as a result the students attendance for the school has been higher [than] before the start of this support as well as all our students scoring 100% pass percentage indicating all our students who attended our final exam got passed.”

Tibet Relief Fund provides community grants to three sponsorship institutes including a care home for Tibetan elders, a school for Tibetan students and a monastic school for Tibetan monks.

Over a two year period, a £10,700 grant generously provided by the Dharmakaya Trust will be allocated to these institutions in the form of community grants. This funding will support Tibetan communities in exile and reinforce our existing community sponsorship scheme.
