Tibet Relief Fund Winter Appeal: Help vulnerable Tibetans access vital medical care

winter-appeal-2015

While we enjoy some well-deserved time off this Christmas, in Chandigarh, north India, Tsering Dolkar and her sister, Lhakpa Dolma, are working around the clock to help vulnerable Tibetans get vital medical care.

Tsering, often referred to as the “Tibetan Mother Teresa”, has saved lives and relieved a great deal of suffering through her project, Help on Hand. Since 2007, your donations have helped fund her work – paying for medicines and operations, helping Tibetan patients understand what their doctor is telling them and giving them a safe supportive home during their treatment.

Many Tibetans earn very little and struggle to afford even basic medical care. Often the patients who come to Tsering have serious diseases such as hepatitis B, cancer and HIV. Tsering’s project saves lives.
Tsering constantly has more patients asking for help than she can manage so she is in desperate need of funding.

She can only continue her life-saving work with your help. Will you consider giving a donation this winter to support Tibetan patients?
