Across India and Nepal there are many small, grass-roots Tibetan Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). Some work in certain geographical areas, some aim to tackle very specific problems and some are just starting out.
We want to encourage these organisations with their work because, after all, who knows how to help the Tibetan community better than the Tibetan community?! Last year, in partnership with SOIR-IM and The Tibet Fund, we held a workshop in India so some of these CSOs could learn about each other’s work, develop new skills and network.
20 CSOs attended the three-day workshop where topics ranged from organisational self-assessments to challenges faced and how to overcome them. We have since facilitated
